Happy Holidays Everyone!

Posted on Thu Dec 31st, 2015 @ 3:20pm by Rear Admiral Oliver Lancaster

Hey guys,

First off, I'm sorry this took so long to get out there. I'd planned to put this out on Christmas Day, but then got caught up in other things. Curse my Mother buying me the complete Enterprise boxset!!!!

Anyway, Happy Holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa (yes I had to google spellings here to avoid offending people) or whatever other holiday you may celebrate. And as off tomorrow (17 hours 45 for me approximately), Happy New Year!

So blast those party poppers, throw that confetti, let the wines and ales and spirits flow and have a great one people!

Our final point; last month, we had a post count of 46. That's no small feat, so well done. In light of this, and other factors, we won the UoM Bronze for November.

The nomination was as follows, and I feel you should all hear the glowing reccomendation our TGCO gave us (he actually got the gold for a post count of around 115 approximately, let's try and top that one day, eh ;P)

"It was a difficult decision this month as many sims 72A have shown dramatic improvementin their post counts over the past month. But there can be only one winner, and Starbase 47 showed themselves to be more than worthy of an award. Their 46 posts is all the more impressive when you consider that all that was produced by only six players for most of the month (a seventh was recruited late in the month). As always, quality is great and they have a real knack for pressing through with one exciting mission after another. Their transition from the USS Asphodel to SB47 has been a resounding success, and I look forward to their new adventures in the Delta Quadrant, as well as their future partnership with the USS Endeavour, another TG72A ship."

So well done everyone. I'm proud of each and every one of you. Now get back to work, we have a firefight to write!
