Alert Status: Condition Green

Ship in Spacedock

Imperator is a Sovereign class Starship attached to Obsidian Fleet's TF47 as the flagship of the Task Force. Currently, the ship is sat in spacedock, awaiting new crew members before departing to mediate a border dispute.

The ship is crewed primarily from former members of the crew of the Starships Wolff, Asphodel, and Starbase 47with her former CO, Rear Admiral Oliver Lancaster, having received Command of the ship. Now, along with his intrepid crew, Admiral Lancaster has the dual duties of helping to explore this uncharted Dark Frontier and to monitor both Starfleet and Klingon Operations in the Delta Quadrant, seeking out new life, and new civilisations. Hey all,

So, update on the class change. Effective immediately, we're transferring to the USS Imperator, a Sovereign Class Starship. Heads up, there is an error where the old Wolff skin still shows on the control panel. I am aware of it and it will be worked on.

We're also going to be starting our new mission within the next day or two.

Finally, we're going to start recruiting for the vacant positions. If you know anyone who would want to apply, please, send them this way.

Hope you are all well.

Regards,

Ben

Hey everyone,

At the recomendation of Lt Thorrin, I've gone ahead and created a discord channel for the Wolff. I'd like to see you all on there. However, I won't be making it obligatory at this time.

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is well and had a fabulous holiday season! I’m writing to you today to inform you we have not one. Not Two. But THREE new crew members joining us as of today!

First of all, we have a new Chief of Operations in Lieutenant Thorrin, who joins us as a transfer from the Cross. Also coming with his is Lieutenant Jg Kether McCloud as our new Chief Intelligence Officer. Finally, a brand new addition, Lieutenant Jg Erin Airey is our new Chief Counselor.

I hope you’ll all make them feel very welcome here, and join me in welcoming them to the team.

» Happy New Year!

Posted on Sun Dec 31st, 2017 @ 9:43am by Rear Admiral Oliver Lancaster in Out of Character

Hey guys,

First off, sorry for skipping the obligatory "Happy Holidays" message this year. My work life balance has been non-existent since my Supervisor decided to take a month off, leaving me to do his job and mine! Not making excuses here, just making it clear I hadn't forgotten you all.

Second of all, I'm getting a few hours ahead and wishing you all a Happy New Year! I know how network connections can get as it get's closer to zero hour on that, so, a word to the wise amongst you, send your new years texts and emails by about 11. Otherwise, there's no guarantee they'll get through by midnight. This is coming from someone working in telecoms. Do with that what you will.

Now, it's a new year and a new start. This year, we're fighting back. I admit, we've had a tough time of it. I've been pretty lax with everyone. That's over as of tomorrow. We're going to remain on shoreleave until the end of January, at which point we set off to mediate the Klingon border dispute. We're going to be doing that on a new ship, though which ship will not be confirmed just yet.

In the meantime, let's get some more character development out. If anyone has any questions, please, let me know.

Regards,

Ben

» Character Creation on IFS2

Posted on Tue Oct 10th, 2017 @ 7:59am by Rear Admiral Oliver Lancaster in Out of Character

Hey guys,

As some of you are aware, character creation recently went live on IFS2. Now, I have a favour to ask of all of you. I need you to create your character on IFS2 (go to http://obsidianfleet.tech/my-characters/ and you'll be able to do that, you'll need to create an account if you haven't already). This is due to the fact that, when we do finally have our rosters live, I will need those characters existing so I can populate the Wolff's roster with each and every one of you.

As an aside, if anyone knows of any players who are looking for a new sim, why not ask them to check us out? I think we've got a pretty cool thing going.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Regards,

Ben

Oliver stood in the shuttlebay, looking out at the stars beyond the force field. From where the bay was located, you couldn’t even see the dry dock around the ship. Instead, it looked as if they were in open space. It was... Relaxing.

Commodore's Log, Stardate.... Yeah, probably should've checked that.

It's funny, I always thought that when I got promoted to the Admiralty, I'd be delegated solely to flying a desk. I never thought it would involve another Starship.

The Wolff, a Luna class Starship, is certainly built for the kind of…

Captain's Log.
